Women's Spirituality
Women’s Spirituality meets the first and third Tuesday of each month at 10:30 in the Fireside room. We begin with prayer requests and Scripture, then each participant shares a reading that has inspired them. Sometimes it’s from “Jesus Calling”, “Mornings with Jesus” or maybe a heartwarming story from Reader’s Digest! We always have lively discussions, and many times we find we’ve all chosen readings along a similar topic. Pastor Jean used to tell us “that’s the Spirit at work.” We conclude at 11:45 with a prayer circle. One special activity is our prayer stones. In April we pick a stone with a person’s name on it from a basket, and anonymously pray for that person all year. There’s always surprise and gratitude when our “prayer stone partner” is revealed. This group is open to all women. Come join us!
